ADHD is not a Disorder

They are behaviors ( 18 of them ) that society now deems as a disease that have no scientific validity behind them at all.

In 1987", default", attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, ( ADHD ) was literally voted into existence by the American Psychiatric Association and inserted in the DSM-IV, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Within one year 500,000 children in the U.S. were diagnosed with the disorder.

Behaviors put on the diagnosis symptom list has widened. Therefore, open the door to more children being put on these drugs.

In 1998 at the National Institutes of Health Consensus Conference on ADHD The NIH issued the following statement regarding ADHD: "We do not have an independent, valid test for ADHD, and there is no data to indicate that ADHD is due to a brain malfunction"

If no one wants to certify and underwrite the testing/diagnosis criteria, why should any parent have a child tested with bogus testing procedures? (or be held accountable, based on these fraudulent testing procedures?)

Between the years of 1990-2000 over 569 children were hospitalized, 38 of them were life threatening hospitalizations, and 186 died from Ritalin.

There are absolutely no positive long-term effects of these medications on learning, academic standards, performances, and social behavior.

School administrators are coercing parents into drugging their children for disorders that have no scientific and organic validity of disease. If they don't drug as requested by school officials, Child Protective services may and have been called. Therefore involving still another government agency in fraudulent cases.

School administration and school teacher's are trained to educate, not medicate, therefore any labeling, diagnosing of illness, and suggestions of medical conditions would be considered practicing medicine without a license / medical malpractice.

Medical diagnosis should remain outside the realm of education and stay there. Pressure to seek specific medical treatment is not the job of the school system.

Parents rights are being violated. Children's rights are being violated in accordance with the United Nations Treaty of The Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Principles 2, 7, & 9

The Violation of "Informed Consent" Statutes

Parents rights are being violated when they are not told of the unscientific nature of so called disorders such as ADHD or the risks of the treatments involved (drugs) and they certainly are not informed of alternatives to their child's behavior such as undiagnosed allergies or food sensitivities, that could manifest with the symptoms of what psychiatry calls ADHD.

School shootings are linked; 6 out of 12 shootings involved CHILDREN on these substances. We could only get the information on six of the children, so to date the number is at 100 %.

The DEA has classified Ritalin as a schedule two drug comparable to Cocaine.

Ritalin is one of the top ten abused prescription drugs on the streets today.

Currently 15 % of our nation's children are on psychotropic substances. Nationally, nearly 20 million prescriptions for Ritalin, Adderall and other stimulants used to treat ADHD were written last year -- a 35 percent increase over 1996, according to IMS Health, a health care information company. Most of those prescriptions were for boys under 12, IMS Health said.

About seven million children in this country are treated with addictive, dangerous, and potentially deadly drugs without demonstration of abnormality of disease.

America's armed forces do not want recruits that are on psychotropic drugs or with a history of mental illness.
